Hello honored veterans and family, I am David Weber and I am looking into some of my grandfather's actions during WW2. I have found the info on his promotion to CAG of AG31 but know very little about what AG31 did until I found this site. Thank you all so much for having another piece of the puzzle. I still cannot find any website (including some govt sites) that will tell me what my grandfather did to get the Navy Cross. I knew he flew off of Green in the Solomons as CO of VF34 but knew next to nothing after that. This site has been a great find for us. I am going to read previous posts on this forum just to see what kinds of things AG31 were doing and any stories anyone has that aren't posted would be greatly appreciated.
