"My dad, Harold W. Russell, who served on the Belleau Wood during WWII passed away 11/22/2005, he was 82. He always talked about his Navy days with such pride. He was a dedicated member.

This past week, my mother, Harold's wife, passed away on 9/1/2009 at 85. She is now at peace with him in heaven.

They will be inurned in October at the Long Island National Cemetary, Farmingdale, N.Y.
