Subject: Re: Information on my Uncle William K Hall VT-31 Air Crew member From: robert d holland

"My Uncle William Kenneth Hall was a member of VT-31 he flew as a Radioman/Bombardier on the TBM. He and his fellow air crew members were lost over Kure Harbor/Naval Base on July 24, 1945 listed as missing in action and the killed in action. I believe the pilots last name was Holland.

I did not see anything about him or his fellow crew members here on your web sight. In 1995 at the WWII 50th Anniversary Oshkosh Air Show in Wisconsin I met a gentleman who had served on board the Belleau Wood as a Radar repairman. But I have never spoken with or had contact with anyone who flew with or knew my uncle. I would greatly appreciate any and all information you might have. My family has a long record of military service and I am trying to gather as much information as I can. God Bless and Thank all of you for your service!

I will retire with 24 1/2 years servie from the USAF/ANG on December 7th, 2008 (Pearl Harbor Day + 67 years)

Thank You

Bill Hall
