Subject: Re: George Agar From: Eric Jensen

"I am a historian researching the case of LTJG George Agar for the Defense Department. His record says that he crashed on Kwajalein Island on 30 January 1944 on a raid on an enemy base. Does anyone know exactly what happened to him? He is still listed as missing in action, his remains never having been found. Thanks in advance for whatever information you can help give!"

George check out from the U.S. Naval archives the appropriate logs in microfilm form, and have his local library request that they be sent to the library. These logs are available to anyone, historians and family alike. These logs give so much information, including maps, personnel involved, after action reports, etc. I can't send any more info at this time because my wife and I are in Europe.
