I was USS BELLEAU WOOD's (LHA-3) last XO and have recently retired from the Navy. I just moved from San Diego and I'm now living in New York.
I was wondering who was still active for the BELLEAU WOOD Association.

Captain - yes I am still answering for CVL-24. Sorry to say that LHA-3 never did come into the Belleau Wood organization. I suppose it just lack leadership among the crew. All waiting to see what someone else does. I have quite a list of LHA-3 names and email addresses. Maybe it is not too late to get it started.
Wish you well in your civilian life - why New York?? I was stationed at DIO3 for a couple of years and rushed back to the pentagon. Good to hear from you -
