USS Belleau Wood will always mean alot to me, because It was on that Ship I was Command Advanced to SH2 and I was able to retired. I had great times on that ship and I will never forget. If anyone remembers me pls email me. Again USS Belleau Wood will truly be missed. After serving 4 yrs I did some shore duty then I was on USS Tarawa LHA-1 Then I went onboard USS Peleliu LHA-5 and retired 1999. It was USS Belleau Wood that got me hooked on GATOR NAVY.
